As part of their sponsorship for the Victorian Pride Cup - Pride Cup themselves will be running an LGBTQI+ Inclusion in clubs education session in the Lakeview Meeting room at MSAC. We encourage representatives from clubs to attend and take part as we further strengthen our inclusive programs like the Rainbow Racquets.

The session is called Training Session 101: Introduction to LGBTQIA+ Inclusion

Pride Cup clubs are encouraged to participate in an LGBTQIA+ inclusion educational session, designed to equip participants with the tools to stand up to homophobia and transphobia, and to embed inclusion in their clubs values and practices. Ideal for those new to or recently engaged in LGBTQIA+ inclusion, this session will support participants to:
• Understand LGBTQIA+ experiences in Australian sports.
• Learn key terms and language use.
• Identify current issues affecting LGBTQIA+ participation.
• Combat negative stereotypes in sports.
• Act as an ally against homophobia on and off the field.

We encourage all clubs to send a representative along to take part in this session.
