Published Tue 31 Jan 2023

The City of Knox has given approval for the development of Melbourne's newest state-of-the-art Squash and Racquetball Centre.

The new Knoxfield Centre (conveniently located 3 minutes from Eastern Link) will boast six (6) international glass-back Squash/Racquetball courts, including next-generation digital configuration. The centre will feature meeting room space, and licenced and sporting retail facilities.

Eastern Suburbs Racquetball Association (ESRA) President Ian Chalmers says, "The sports of Squash and Racquetball are alive in Knox and surrounding municipalities and the venue would be warmly welcomed by all our players.".

“A great way to start off a new 2023 season and get everyone excited about the future of Squash and Racquetball in Victoria”, said Squash and Racquetball Victoria General Manager Karl Mayne.

The centre will offer players across all levels the opportunity to have a great game of squash or racquetball in addition to providing our high-performance juniors and senior players a venue offering the latest in high-tech training equipment and courts to help their games go to the next level.

More information on the new centre will be made available when construction is underway.
