Player Insurance
As part of Squash Australia's National Insurance Program, Squash Vic offers its registered players basic personal accident insurance cover through brokers Marsh and agency Sportscover.
If you are injured you must notify Marsh/Sportscover within 30 days of the injury occurring even though you may decide later not to lodge a claim. A dedicated Squash Australia webpage provides information on the policy, how to claim, tracking your claim etc. The policy schedule and product disclosure forms are also provided and players are advised to read the contents thoroughly.
Please note that in accordance with Government legislation, the policy is unable to assist with Medicare expenses. If you have private health insurance, claims should be directed to your private health insurer initially then sent to Sportscover with a copy of your reimbursement from your private provider.
